This is Ophelia. She loves to play and explore, but still will sweetly climb up on me to get cuddles. I've taken to waking Jared up by letting her chase his feet under the sheets. Even though she seems fearless (she loves to boop noses with our huge dog Bonnie), she was a little afraid of these flowers. Which was adorable. Because everything she does is adorable.
She has the most unique markings! As illustrated below, she has the tiniest little mohawk in the world. In the sun, her fur looks reddish, and there are adorable tan marks all over her including her chin, chest, belly, and one foot.
Both of these little ones are only with me for a little while longer, and then they will go back to the Asheville Humane Society so they can be adopted to a wonderful home!
Bellamy is so sweet and cuddly! Last night he slept on my shoulder, nestled against my neck for hours. He likes to play (he kept trying to attack these flowers), but he mainly lives for cuddles. I think that if they turned a kitten stuffed animal into a real kitten, it would look just like Bellamy.
He has been such a trooper! He had a big hernia that they removed this week with pretty major surgery. And he had a kitten cold on top of that. But he has been healing so well and still trying to cuddle and play the whole time.
He needs to be all healed up and grow a bit before he is ready to be adopted from the Asheville Humane Society, but I will be so jealous of whoever gets to bring him into their family.
