My name is Sarah! I'm an animal loving, thrift shopping, book devouring, craft making, hiking obsessed, photographer. I believe that there's no such thing as "too sweet" for desserts and that every dress should have pockets.
I live in weird and wonderful West Asheville with my musician husband Jared and our two pets: a diva cat named Olive and a goofy cuddly dog named Bonnie. On our favorite afternoons, we're all on our back deck grilling, listening to birds and neighborhood kids, and watching the sun set.
I have a B.A. in Photography, but I almost got a degree in Equine Studies. And when I was a kid, I was sure I would become a veterinarian. Because I love animals. Like Tiny Toons Elmyra "I just want to love him and kiss him and hug him..." kind of love. So, if you're wondering if your pet should be in your photos - yes, yes please.
My husband probably thinks my life goal is to make every craft on Pinterest. My favorites so far have been needle felting (everything turns out cute!) and screen printing (everything turns out cool!). But, my real life goal is much nerdier: to read all the books. Especially anything dystopian, weird, or mysterious. Some of my favorites are Jitterbug Perfume and Fahrenheit 451. This means I'm an excellent resource if you need a book recommendation. I'm also a great resource for the best Asheville thrift stores, craft breweries, and hiking spots. I am always down to hike out to a beautiful mountaintop or waterfall for a photo session!
I love to learn a lot about you before your session so that your photos will reflect your personality. The location, styling, and even the kind of light are tailored to you. It's also important to me that you have a great time at the shoot. I want you to feel amazing and have fun because that's how we'll create the most beautiful and natural images.
Hey, I'm Eric! I'm a fashion stylist with a panache for layering, print mixing, and modern silhouettes. My take on classic pieces with a modern perspective has set me apart from my contemporaries. I'm located in Chicago, IL where I live with my partner, Tyler J. McCall and our 6 year old Yorkie-poo, Douglass. My favorite color is pink, and I'm probably sipping an iced latte as you read this.
